America’s Freedom Tribute

Americas Freedom Tribute would like to announce to the people of Tishomingo County that The American Veterans Traveling Tribute’s (AVTT) Traveling Vietnam Wall and Cost of Freedom Tribute will be on display for the public at Tishomingo County High School Football Field, 701 US-72 W, Iuka, MS from June 26, 2026, until June 28, 2026.
“Remembering and respecting our Veterans for the selfless sacrifices they have made is one of our greatest responsibilities as citizens of this state and nation,” said Sara Cooley. “We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom. The American Veterans Traveling Tribute offers the people, alongside Veterans, the chance to pay their respects to our nation’s fallen warriors and gain a deeper appreciation for all those who have answered the call to service.”
Kylah Doherty the AFT Event Coordinator stated, “We are excited to partner with IDEA to offer this experience and make this event one to remember!”
The American Veterans Traveling Tribute
The confirmed location is Tishomingo County High School Football Field, 701 US-72 W, Iuka, MS. with various sizes available, the double-sided replica will be utilized. Standing 6ft tall, this tribute is 89ft long. It also includes the Cost of Freedom Tribute which honors all our other major wars and conflicts such as: WWI, WWII, Korea, Desert Storm, Somalia, 9/11, Iraq and Afghanistan. The Tribute Wall travels across the country showcasing the names and acknowledging their sacrifices but also educating our youth so that history may never die!
We are looking for volunteers, donations, and participation from the community. Remember that AFT focuses on bringing the community together to honor all who serve.”
